Fukuyama's thesis was highly contentious. However, it seems foolish to take as valid criticism the assertion that "so-and-so has died; therefore Fukuyama was wrong to state that history has ended." This was not Fukuyama's thesis. Let us look at a variety of criticms levelled at the actual thesis Fukuyama posits.
